Living in NYC I hardly see anyone with a CD player. Most people here have some type of mp3 player, which means that they are synching their music from a computer and most likely purchasing that music via a digital download.
There have been numerous music store closings in the past year and these music store closings will continue. Soon the only places where you will be able to buy music in the physical form will be places like Wal-Mart and other large scale retailers.
Get ready to say bye to the CD …………… soon it will be forgotten like the cassette tape and the infamous eight track.
