My favorite saying when it comes to web design: “Web Design is like buying a car and you get what you pay for.”

When someone asks for a website they want something that represents their company in a professional manner.

With that being the case why would you hire someone to make you a website who is not a professional?

People ask me all the time…………. HOW MUCH FOR A WEBSITE?

My response is always lets talk about it……………. People tend to not like this answer……………

So I have decided to provide a baseline cost for a website:

5 page HTML only template based web site with hosting for 1 year: $800

I start my web design services at that price (payment plans available!)

Image is EVERYTHING!

Remember:
I am a professional web developer, I do this for a living and I work daily on a website that is seen by over 10 million people. I know what it takes to produce quality web sites that will showcase your business and help you make more money.

You can get cheaper prices definitely, I can teach you myself how to use Dreamweaver and you can make your own website for a fraction of what I charge.

Basically I charge more than an amateur but way less than a professional web design studio would.

For those that care, here are the nerd facts on my skillset:

PHP/MySql is the database/middleware of choice (Drupal, Vbulletin, Mambo, and other CMS systems)

Flash (my favorite) I have done numerous projects and websites using Flash

E-commerce (built in and custom built systems using PHP and ASP)

HTML/CSS with tableless layouts

Javascript

AJAX (working on it)

ASP (not a favorite but I have worked with it)
